These six hour sessions will be filled with instructional and fun sporting activities, conducted by our professional staff of trainers.

Instruction Includes:
Pitching Instruction:
Pitching instructors at The Cage will teach players proper pitching mechanics that will help increase velocity and how to avoid injury. Some of the topics covered include the basics of balance, body control, stride, release point and follow through.
Hitting Instruction:
Hitting instructors at The Cage will teach players how to improve their hitting mechanics. The instructors will teach the finer points of hitting via drills that cover balance, stance, approach, point of contact and follow through.
Fielding Instruction:
Fielding instructors at The Cage will teach players the drills and skills necessary to improve their defensive game. Learn the proper mechanics of the fielding stance, footwork, balance and the importance of using two hands, along with proper throwing techniques.

The Cage of Long Island welcomes to our facility, former pro and collegiate pitcher, Chuck Moore. As our pitching instructor, Chuck brings years of experience and strong communication skills into teaching pitchers of all ages and talent levels.
Private lessons, as well as “clinic” style instruction, are available to ensure proper mechanics with arm health being our number one priority. With a combination of fundamental drills, strength and conditioning, and pitching theory. Chuck affords all pitchers the opportunity to perform at their best.
